20/20 Vision is one of Luke Hohmann's Innovation Games. You know when you visit the opticians to get glasses fitted or your eyes checked? They ask, "Which lens do you prefer? 1 or 2?" This is the essence of 20/20 Vision.
You can use this approach to prioritise anything from Product Backlog Items to Project Goals to Retrospective Actions. It's a great technique to come up with prioritised list in a short period of time. It also facilitates discussions which lead to a deeper understanding of motivations and goals. I've used it with everything from prioritising PBIs to choosing which holiday snaps to print. It's a powerful tool.
There are more Innovation Games out there - which do you use? How do you use them? What hacks have you made to the original games, and how did that work for you?
